I love decorating tables. Planning it out and seeing everything come together so we can all sit around and enjoy a good meal and each other’s company makes me a happy camper. To be honest with you, I wanted to go all out for Thanksgiving this year. I loved last year’s table so much but wanted to do something with lots of different sized candles and a pretty garland . But then life happened and I ran out of time. So a simple Thanksgiving table it is! We are hosting my mother-in-law and Mike’s grandma again so it’ll just be the four of us. I bought a new table runner, drinking glasses and napkins and that’s it, everything else we already had! I have a vision in my head for Christmas and am determined to make that happen but honestly, I’m loving the simplicity of our Thanksgiving table this year.
The table runner has a pretty woven metallic thread throughout it that gives a little sparkle. I used this decanter as a vase for some eucalyptus and grabbed white pumpkins because one can never have too many of those.
I’m just as obsessed with our dinnerware and flatware as I was the day we got them and can’t stop staring at my new gingham napkins! Plus we have gold pineapple napkin rings sooo life = complete.
I’m looking forward to hosting again this year and need to figure out what I’m making. If you have any favorite gluten free recipes please send them my way!
