When we moved into our home I was beyond excited to start decorating. This was our first house and I had a vision of blues and whites with touches of gold. Our living room was filled with shelves and table tops that needed decor! I don’t like spending a lot of money on small decor pieces. I’d rather save for bigger things such as new countertops and lighting (still saving for that one!). Little by little, I’d come home with a new piece for the console table or the shelving in our living room. I can’t say I’m 100% finished yet. I end up changing something on the shelves weekly, usually during a boring tv show. But there are a few touches of decor in our living room that are my absolute favorite and bring a smile to my face. I hope they do the same for you 🙂
This little house bud vase is the cutest! I stuck a piece of eucalyptus in the chimney and love it 🙂
This ottoman was the first thing we purchased for our home, while we were still living in CT! I saw it online and fell in love. I based the rest of our decor and colors off of this piece. You can’t see them in this pic, but it has brass legs! I was the happiest person in the entire world when this got delivered and am still obsessed!
I will do a full living room tour soon but in the meantime just wanted to show y’all some of the pieces that I truly love around here!
