When Mike and I were looking for a home, having a two car garage was on the must list. We knew we wanted to turn it into a gym not only for ourselves but to train clients in. While many of the people we work with are online coaching clients, we both do still train clients in person and being able to work out of the house was very important to us.
About a month after we moved in we bought the flooring and equipment and have been loving our own space to workout and train clients in. Here is everything we have in our gym, incase you are interested in making a workout space for your home! Also, I had nothing to do with the decor in this space 😉
Flooring:
After looking at actual gym flooring in various fitness stores we decided to get these rubber mats from Tractor Supply. So far they have held up great and they’re easy to clean.
Barbells and Squat Rack:
We got almost all of our equipment from Rogue Fitness. We went with 2 barbells (The Ohio Bar) and the S-2 squat stand and we purchased a set of the HG 2.0 bumper plates. We bought this to hold the plates and these clamp collars. We also got this bench.
Kettlebells and Dumbbells:
We love our Rogue Kettlebells and dumbbells!
Miscellaneous equipment:
These or these medicine balls,
Ab wheel (the best out of any I’ve tried!)
TRXÂ (and this ceiling mount)
Trigger point long foam roller
Trigger point density foam roller
